Principal

Charlotte is a world traveler and a curator of travel experiences. Charlotte has managed properties in Baja California, Mexico and San Diego, California and is an Airbnb Super Host. Charlotte has a Masters degree in Business Administration and a Bachelors degree in International Business from The American University in Rome, Italy. She looks forward to making your stay memorable.

Principal

Coley is an entrepreneur, technology executive and a world traveler from California. Coley has been involved in many stages of business development, marketing and product development. Having a background in Finance and Information Technology (IT) he is instrumental in building new companies in new markets over the last 30 years.  

Real Estate & Project Manager

Francisco founded Casas e Tradições in 2004 in order to provide real estate services in the Douro Valley. Francisco is leading our property development, project management, estate incentives and legal coordination for this project. Francisco has many projects in the Douro where he manages and promotes tourism for self-catering investments. 

Architect

Hugo is the architect who knows how to build landmark projects. Hugo has a background in rebuilding ruins in the UNESCO region and working with local and federal departments. Hugo is currently working on increasing the highly regulated property from 900 square meters to 2,000 square meters (21,528 sq/ft), which will increase the property’s market presence and value.

Legal Council

Dr. Paula is registered lawyer and has been in private practice for 20 years. Paula is an expert in corporate law and helped Santa Clara navigate through many legal structures and transactions. She is alos a member of the Maia Delegation of the Portuguese Bar Association, since 2011 and has held many roles. 

Creative Director – Interior Design

Alexandra is part of UMSEISUM, an architecture, construction, interior design company. Santa Clara has partnered with UMSEISUM to create an authentic experience by sourcing custom designs and reclaimed materials.

Contractor

Tozé is an independent building contractor responsible for managing and overseeing our construction and renovation projects, from start to finish. He has 20 years of experience building in the tough terrain of the Douro Valley.

Vineyard Manager

Humberto has been part of the Santa Clara project since its inception in 2018 and as our Vineyard Manager he is responsible for overseeing all aspects of vineyard operations.

Brothers

Cortez and Cash are partners in crime and and love traveling. Spending over 400 days on the road they are looking forward to making Santa Clara a property for travelers and families.
